About

The Perinatal Society of New Zealand is for any Health Professional of Scientist aiming for the best care of the fetus / newborn

From the President:

Welcome to the Perinatal Society of New Zealand!

It’s a great pleasure to take over as President of PSNZ and be able to contribute to the ever growing community of scientists, medical professionals from a whole array of disciplines and community advocates, all of whom are passionate about ensuring the best possible outcomes for women and babies, and their families and whanau.

We are committed to working together to ensure that the Society is a place where all of us have an opportunity to share ideas, find support and strengthen the links between antenatal and postnatal care as well continue to nurture relationships between our different institutions.

The annual PSNZ meeting this year will run on the 29thand 30thNovember 2018. We are privileged to have speakers from across Australia and NZ who will share new research as well as clinical practice points with us. We are also delighted to be able to give a real voice to our neonatal parents; their observations on what NICU meant to them, even years down the track, is a unique opportunity to reflect on what we do, and ways that we can work together to do it even better. Finally, our ‘bus stop’ presentations will give us an additional opportunity to hear highlights from clinical improvements, research and other projects.

Please submit your abstracts, we want to hear from you!

We look forward to welcoming you to Wellington later this year,

Max Berry
President
